  • The Bluecliff ES impresses with stability and comfort. 
  • With its high shaft and stable sole, it is the perfect companion for hikes in the low mountain ranges and extended tours. 
  • What else distinguishes this model? The high-quality upper material is made of nubuck and suede leather, which is used on the heel and toe cap and is particularly robust. 
  • For dry feet, the so-called Derby cut with water flap tongue construction and the PFC-free EcoShell membrane developed by HANWAG ensures waterproofing, breathability, and sustainability. 
  • The membrane is part of a multi-layer laminate. 
  • In the case of the Bluecliff ES, a four-layer laminate is processed, which guarantees excellent breathability and high comfort – particularly important on extended day tours. 
  • Due to the fourth layer, the shoe also has an additional insulation layer, making it ideal for spring and autumn hikes. 
  • A special feature of the Bluecliff ES is the Hike Pro outsole: with this sole, four millimetres of tread depth, above-average large lugs with a wide contact area, and a particularly grippy rubber compound meet the ground. 
  • A special midsole construction (3D IPU) also guarantees a perfect fit and harmonious rolling: the combination of stabilising and expanded PU as well as a stabiliser made of glass-fibre reinforced polypropylene makes this possible. 
  • Durable and high-quality metal eyelets and loops without rivets, combined with a 2-zone lacing system realised with locking hooks, provide improved heel hold and optimal foot fixation in the shoe
