- In the Ortles TirolWool® Air insulation jacket, we combine sustainable Tyrolean wool with partially recycled polyester.
- The hollow fibres of the material can absorb air and thus store body heat, giving the jacket a very low weight while maintaining high loft and insulation capability.
- Furthermore, the material also offers high thermal performance even when wet.
- For additional abrasion protection, inserts made from our weatherproof Powertex® material are located at the hood, shoulders, upper arms, and sleeve cuffs.
- Also, the features are designed for alpine activities:
- The helmet-compatible hood protects against wind and weather, the two-way front zip allows access to the safety device, small items can be stored in the two mesh inner pockets, and the adjustable sleeve cuffs with Velcro and thumb loops can be comfortably worn over winter gloves.
