  • this model features a single-sided terry cushioning in the toe and heel areas. 
  • as this cushioning is not built into the skin side (as is common with other sock manufacturers), but is located between the inner and outer sock, chafing of the cushioning against the skin is avoided
  • the MERINO ESCAPE combines the pleasant foot climate of the fine wool of the Merino sheep in the outer layer with the optimal moisture-wicking Dri-Wright functional fibre in the inner layer. 
  • as the wool is not on the skin side, there is also no "wool scratching" – very advantageous for allergy-sensitive individuals.
  • thanks to the Merino wool used, the MERINO ESCAPE provides excellent warmth in cooler temperatures. 
  • additionally, due to the good insulation of the air layer between the layers and the moisture-wicking inner layer, it is also very suitable for use in spring and autumn.
  • the most important feature of all WRIGHTSOCK socks is the two sock layers, which are stitched together at several points. 
  • the two layers effectively reduce friction between the foot and sock, shifting it instead between the two sock layers.
